This week, Wednesday 6th August at around 8:15pm, our beautiful Scotty passed away peacefully at home. He died as in life, surrounded by love and held in the hearts of people all around the world.

His will to live and stay with us was strong as he reluctantly left us. He was so brave until the very end, when his mind’s determination to stay was simply overtaken by his body’s ability to go on fighting MND.

Thank you for all your love and support. Gosh, we’re gonna miss him so much xx

This week, our community wrapped us up and hugged us so tightly, it felt like anything was possible with them by our sides. We hope we showed our heartfelt appreciation, by being there amongst the action and offering our words of gratitude (speech sadly too long to fit here!).

We are flabbergasted by the auction held by the Kununurra Campdraft and Rodeo Association, and several thousand dollars have been added to this fundraiser.

Following our whopping $15,000 tally for my birthday, we’ve opened up this fundraiser for the Kununurra Campdraft and Rodeo Association to contribute via their annual auction, Friday 1st August.

What an incredible team!! We smashed $12,000 for MNDAWA! Such an incredible gift, thank you all for your generosity and support.

We feel so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people, you all bring so much to our lives.

Thanks is inadequate to express the gratitude in our hearts as we face the impact of MND on our family. With you all by our side, we can do this - for us and for other families living with this cruel condition.

Over the weekend we cracked $11,000 for MNDAWA. What a gift! You have brightened my birthday and the lives of so many families supporting loved ones with MND.

Thank you for helping us show MNDAWA how much we value their support.

This week alone MNDAWA have helped us with equipment loans, counselling, therapist advice, support coordination and advocacy.

These funds will help them continue their invaluable work supporting families living with MND.
