On Saturday, 1 October 2022, I will start my 100km non-stop journey to raise $100,000 for MNDAWA.

Most of my weekends I was found wandering around the eastern hills of Perth, one Sunday I came across a small group of people, I recognised someone I had met many years ago and was introduced to the group and encouraged to join their Cape to Cape training walks and after a few months and lots of encouragement, my journey with MNDAWA began.

In March 2021, I completed the Cape to Cape with a wonderful and amazing group of people who changed my view on life. Their journeys were rough, filled with heartache and heartbreak, and many stories were shared with not a dry eye in the house. This group of people I am proud to call friends. Their journeys continue and their stories never end.

Even though March 2021 was a year ago, the support and camaraderie The Capers have formed is beyond amazing. I am fortunate, I do not have this insidious disease, but it has inspired me to live my best life and do what I can for others. So why am I doing this, because I can!

The journey will commence at Darlington and continue along the Railway Heritage Trail and finish back at Darlington Oval. The Trail will be 100km in length and I'll be walking through a number of small towns including Darlington, Parkerville, Mundaring, Stoneville, Mt Helena, Sawyers Valley, Boya, Middle Swan and Mundaring Weir just to name a few.

Until October will be out on the trails, in the gym and on my bike gathering both physical and mental strength to complete this journey. Please feel free to follow me on this journey through social media and share this with as many people as you can.
Off The Beaten Track WA (OTBT) are proud supporters of my challenge and will be there to offer support along the trail.

As the planning continues, there will be the option for those who want to walk with me for 6.5km or 20km can follow the link below
