Join us as we support each other and discuss some of the ways the loss of a loved one to MND can affect our lives.
The purpose of this group is to provide information about the grief process; to share experiences; and to alleviate the feeling of isolation.
This group will be facilitated by Leanne Oshea our end of life care and grief & bereavement specialist and will run over six months.
Though grief and healing has its own pace, professional support can facilitate this difficult journey.
MNDAWA offers free grief support programs to carers, families and loved ones who have lost someone to MND. Our experienced bereavement counsellor provides support in a calm and supportive setting, we will help you understand the grieving process and teach you ways to manage grief and find the strength to heal.

“Grief is not a disorder, a disease or sign of weakness. It is an emotional, physical and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.”
-Earl Grollman
