"When our beautiful mum was given the news of her MND diagnosis back in 2017, I don’t think any of us really understood the journey on which we were all about to embark. The following two years seem like a bit of a blur looking back on them now, but one thing remains clear; that’s the unwavering support and guidance that Mum and our family received from the Motor Neurone Disease Association of WA. The staff were there to offer advice, assistance, and resources throughout Mum’s battle with MND, and the community has continued to be a source of support and comfort in the years since her passing in 2019."

At Motor Neurone Disease WA, our focus is on ensuring that individuals affected by MND receive the comprehensive support they need until the day a cure is found. We offer a variety of crucial services, including Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Coordination of Supports, Bereavement Counselling and many more, empowering those affected to enhance their quality of life despite the challenges they face.
