What is motor neurone disease (MND)? |
MND is a group of diseases in which the neurones (nerve cells) controlling the muscles fail to work normally. With no nerves to actiate them, the muscles graudally weaken and waste. The senses, memory and intellect remain intact.

Lou Gehrig's Disease (USA)
ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)
Maladie de Charcot (1869)
